Return and Refund Policy

📜 UTAIPENDA RETURN AND REFUND ACT, 2025

Section 1: Title and Scope

This Act shall be known as the Utaipenda Return and Refund Act, 2025. It governs all return, exchange, and refund procedures for products sold under the Utaipenda brand via utaipenda.com/1/shop and affiliated channels.

Section 2: Warranty Provision

2.1 All products sold by Utaipenda shall carry a 100-day warranty from the date of delivery.
2.2 The warranty shall cover:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Structural faults
  • Functional failures not caused by misuse

2.3 Damage incurred during delivery shall be covered only if the product was transported by Utaipenda or its authorized delivery partners.

Section 3: Return Eligibility

3.1 A product shall be eligible for return if:

  • It is within the 100-day warranty period
  • It remains in its original condition, unless damaged during Utaipenda delivery
  • The customer provides valid proof of purchase

3.2 Return requests must be submitted via official channels listed in Section 7.

Section 4: Non-Returnable Items

The following items shall not be eligible for return or refund:

  • Products damaged due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Custom-made or personalized items, unless defective
  • Products damaged during third-party delivery or self-transport
  • Items returned after the 100-day warranty period

Section 5: Refund Procedure

5.1 Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, Utaipenda shall notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund.
5.2 Approved refunds shall be processed within 7–14 business days and issued to the original payment method.
5.3 Refunds may be denied if the product fails to meet the conditions outlined in Section 3.

Section 6: Exchange Policy

6.1 Customers may request an exchange for eligible items within the warranty period.
6.2 If the requested item is unavailable, Utaipenda shall offer a refund or store credit of equal value.
6.3 Exchanges shall be subject to the same inspection and approval process as returns.

Section 7: Return Initiation Procedure

7.1 Customers shall initiate returns through one of the following channels:

  • Email: support@utaipenda.com

7.2 The request must include:

  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for return

Section 8: Shipping Responsibility

8.1 If the return is due to a defect or delivery damage caused by Utaipenda, the company shall bear the return shipping cost.
8.2 For all other return reasons, the customer shall be responsible for shipping costs.

Section 9: Enforcement and Amendments

9.1 This Act shall be enforced by the Utaipenda Customer Service and Logistics Department.
9.2 Amendments to this Act may be made by Utaipenda Management and shall be communicated via official channels.
